What are the ticket options for the Festival?

Ticket options are described on the Ticket Option page. At Paddock Sessions we put together a few different ticket package options. If you have any other questions about ticketing drop us an email via the Contact Us page, we're happy to help.

 

 

My kids are under 4 years of age. Do I need to purchase a ticket for them?

Kids aged between 4 and 16 years of age will be required to purchase a child’s ticket.

What happens if it’s raining, is Paddock Sessions going ahead?

Rain, hail or shine, Paddock Sessions will go ahead. It’s advisable that you check the weather conditions and be prepared. If things get really out of hand we’ll make announcements via email and our social media

My pets really enjoy festivals. Are they welcome?

We ask that at all times, pets are kept on a leash and you’re responsible to clean up after your four legged friend. Please be mindful that Paddock Sessions is a child friendly event when choosing to bring your pet. Any unruly Pets (or children) will be asked to leave and refunds will not be issued.

Is there public transport to Taer Angridd Farm?

The most convenient way to get to Wollombi is by car. No bus services operate to Wollombi. If you'd like us to assist getting a bus pool together please drop us a line.

 

Is there a taxi or bus service from/to accommodation?

Yes. Paddock Sessions is partnering with Grape Experience Tours who will provide a bus service from/to accommodation within 15km of Taer Angwidd farm.  Purchase bus ticket online and nominate your preferred time of arrival at Taer Angwidd farm - we'll work out the bus schedule and confirm a pick up time via email and/or SMS prior to the event. 

 

Is there parking available?

There is plenty of parking onsite for day guests and campers. The car park is approximately 200 metres from the festival entrance.

 

Is Paddock Sessions wheelchair friendly?

Taer Angidd Farm is reasonably flat but there are no paved pathways. We will allow people with RTA issued permits to drive to the festival entrance for pick up and drop off. Please follow the signs to the drop off area from the carpark. Please contact us if you need more information.

Can we bring our caravan / camper to camp in?

Small Camper trailers are ok, anything bigger please contact us directly to discuss access and options.

Are the camping sites powered?

The camping sites on Taer Angridd Farm are unpowered and have no access to direct water. There will fresh water available from a tank for you to collect. Power can be provided to guests with a medical condition if pre-arranged. We cannot provide power without prior notice.

 

How early can we set up?

All campers can come in as early as 3pm from Friday 25th May and leave by midday on Sunday 26th May. Please contact us if you wish to request access outside of these times.

 

Can we camp next to our car?

Most campers will be able to park and set up their campsites next to their cars, however we cannot guarantee your car and tent will be adjacent. Please be mindful of other guests and only take the space you need. Take care when driving on the farm.

 

We are a large group, can we camp together?

It’s best to arrive early to ensure you can set up camp together. We want everyone to be able to set up and enjoy Paddock Sessions, so we won’t allow a set-up which prevents other festival goers from setting up or enjoying the space. 

 

We’re glamping, what do we need to bring?

All you need to do is pack a bag and any food you wish to bring, leave the rest to Glamp Inn the Hunter. When you arrive, let us know you’re glamping and we will show you to your tent. Glampers will have access to park next to their glamour tent.  For full details of the Glamping package, or to request extras (including the kitchen sink), contact Jo at Glamp Inn the Hunter.   Do bring warm clothes as it will be cold over night.

 

What time will the festival finish?

The festival music line up will finish approximately 9:30pm and the Incy Wincy Cyder Bar will stay open until 11:00pm. We ask that all campers refrain from making excessive noise after midnight. Be considerate of others and ensure your site & belongings are kept safe and secure at all times. We have Neighbours too :-)

Will campfires be permitted?

We need to ensure the safety of all our guests, so we have decided it’s best not to allow open fires. We will have designated areas with fire pits and experienced campers with their own fit for purpose burners are permitted. 

 

Is there a shower onsite?

We rely on tank water at Taer Angwidd Farm, so hopefully you don’t mind missing out on a shower for a day or two. Please be mindful of how much water you use.

 

Is there other accommodation available other than camping?

Wollombi offers a range of accommodation options for individuals, couples & groups. Check out http://www.visitwollombi.com.au/hunter-valley-accommodation/book-online/ to see what’s available.  A bus service from/to accommodation will be provided by Grape Experience Tours - book your seat with your tickets.

 

What happens if I forget something?

Wollombi General Store (1.5km) and Great North Trading Post and Laguna Providore (8km towards Sydney) have a range of food and personal items should you forget something. There are no medical facilities nor chemist in Wollombi. Cessnock is the closest town, less than 30 minutes drive, which has the major supermarkets, hardware and chemists if needed.

What can I bring with me?

You can bring anything (legal) you need to make the festival enjoyable. Paddock Sessions is licensed and there will be food vans available. #PS19 has a NO BYO policy for the Festival Paddock and this is enforced with the new liquor licensing requirements.

 

We recommend you bring with you:

  • Weather appropriate clothing and footwear

  • Money (eftpos facilities are available however some cash is advised, just in case)

  • Picnic rug and low chairs for comfort of everyone (we do have festival back support chairs for sale from Womad Adelaide Festival)

  • Warm clothes for the evening (coat, hat, gloves, warm socks)
     

Paddock Sessions organisers won’t permit illegal drugs, firearms or fireworks on the property. Excessive consumption of alcohol won’t be tolerated. Failure to respect our property, may result in guests being asked to leave with no refund given.

 

Is there other food and drinks available?

Paddock Sessions will have food and drink stalls available. The Incy Wincy sponsored licensed bar will open from midday to 11:00pm.

We’re really excited, how early can we be there?

Paddock Sessions will open the gates at 11am on Saturday. Due to regulations, if you’re not a Friday night camping or Glamping ticket holder, we can’t allow you to enter the Paddock Sessions venue before this time. 

Will drinking water be available?

We have filtered rainwater available free of charge. Bring an environmentally friendly, re-usable bottle to refill.

 

Is there EFTPOS facilities available?

There is no ATM on the property, the closest ATM is located in Wollombi Tavern. Individual stall holders and the bar will have eftpos facilities, however being a country venue the internet access is not as reliable as we'd like. We recommend you bring some cash to purchase food, drinks & merchandise.

 

Do I need to bring ID?

All guests over 18 will be required to bring ID to receive a wristband to purchase alcohol at the licensed bar. Please be aware it’s an illegal offence to purchase alcohol for people under 18 years of age and significant penalties apply. Any person caught supplying alcohol to a person under 18 years of age will be asked to leave with no refund given.

 

What’s the weather like in May?

The days are warm and the nights can get cool so be prepared for a change in weather when the sun goes down (coat, hat, gloves and warm socks). 

 

Is there mobile reception at Taer Angidd Farm?

Wollombi Village and Taer Angwidd Farm have very limited phone reception, depending on your telco provider. If it’s Vodafone, you have no hope sadly.

 

On the upside we will provide free (sensible usage)  WiFi which will be available in certain areas of the paddock.

 

Will there be First Aid on site.

We will have a dedicated first aid officer on site for the duration of the event.

#PS18 was cold overnight, will there be fire pits to help with warmth after sunset

We have partnered with Unique Fire Pits to ensure warmth and safety. Unique Fire Pits will also have a festival stall for supplies, small fire pits for sale and setup.  If you're camping and would like to pre-order please drop us an email via Contact Us page, or contact Ricardo from Unique Fire Pits directly.
