Wine and Produce

A unique part of Hunter Valley Wine Country, the Wollombi Valley’s vineyards have been producing fine wines in this region since the 1850’s.

The vineyards and wineries of the Valley are small, boutique operations run by owner operators. The grapes are picked by hand. Wines are largely hand made in small quantities. The results are rare award and trophy-winning wines of exceptional quality.

More recently agri-tourism has found it's way to the area and for those looking for something different & more interactive when it comes to planning a getaway there are a few opportunities in the area. Don't miss Moore Farm Fresh Produce roadside stall on the Great Northern Rd (just about halfway between Wollombi and Laguna).

And thank you ABC News for an excellent feature on one of Wollombi/Laguna's favourite locals at Little Valley Farm, Laguna.
